Glazing
The Canberra has been designed to keep the worst of the British weather at bay. We supply the attractive oak door panels with 24mm Low E insulating glass units.
Finishing
Canberra doors are supplied unfinished as standard or primed as an option, for you to finish yourself. Factory finishing options are also available.
Please note:oak fully finished stain is a light colour.
The doors are fixed through the head directly into the lintel, which holds the doors and mechanism in place. The head track has pre-drilled clearance holes for structural fixings to go through into the lintel.
The doors are hung on pre-fitted wheeled carrier sets, allowing for smooth operation – they simply slide and fold against each other into the corner of the frame. We offer several folding configurations, depending on the opening width, of 3, 4, 5 and 6 leaf.
We supply the frame in a pack for site assembly. The glazed, pre-drilled doors are packed separately. Full fitting instructions are included.
Hardware
The Canberra is beautifully finished with brushed stainless steel hardware as standard, or polished titanium gold as an option. Opening doors are key locking as standard, or you can choose an optional thumb-turn lock.
Factory-fitted Georgian Style Fretting
Simulated Divided Light (SDL) designs can be achieved with our slim frett system which is permanently fixed to both sides of the insulating glass unit, to give a range of effects such as Georgian bar (not available with integral venetian blinds).
